This year we went to my sister Lindsey's house in Tucson for Thanksgiving. We noticed that Logan didn't seem like himself. He was very clingy and running a low grade fever. After Thanksgiving dinner I noticed a spot on his leg that looked similar to Collin's infection that he had on his chest. I noticed when I touched the area it was swollen and very tender, knowing what we know from Collin we took Logan into an Urgent Care. They gave him a shot of antibiotics and said if it was any worse to take him to the ER. The next morning we woke up to Logan throwing up and the spot on his leg was now a HUGE red area, we went straight to the ER. They admitted him immediately and started him on IV antibiotics but after 24 hrs on the antibiotic he was getting worse. They took an xray of his hip (where the red area was) and they were afraid the infection was in his hip socket which could lead to many complications so they took him in for surgery. Long story short they said he had a horrible staff infection in his hip which got into his bloodstream. We spent the next 5 days at UMC. I hated seeing my baby hurting and am so grateful we caught this b/4 it became worse! Here are some picts of this crappy week!

This was taken right b/4 they took him to surgery. You can see they marked the area with a marker only hours before and the redness was already spreading down his leg!

I was so grateful for my mom! She would bring me clean clothes and "real" food everyday! Logan loved seeing his Grammy!
This was on day 4 of 5, he was finally looking and acting like his old self! He kept pulling out his IV so they had to really wrap up his hand so he couldn't mess with it.
This was our "home" for 5 days!!!! I'm so happy to be home safe and sound!
